Vikas, my brother was diagnosed with high grade Astrocytoma (Glioblastoma) in November 2022. The oncologist advised us for surgery followed by chemo-radio therapy. We took proper treatment from an Uttarakhand based, reputed medical college. After complete treatment, we were in shock, because even after surgery and radiotherapy tumour was still within brain cavity. It couldn`t be resolved completely. Also, there was lot of complications of surgery and chemo – radiotherapy. My brother was unable to walk properly, there was difficulty, to make body balance, to speak something, he lost his appetite, his hairs and sleep.

We visited hospital under “Tushitam Foundation.” in march 2023 and started unconventional therapy to minimise overall side effects of concurrent Radiation and Chemotherapy. We continued therapy for next three months. The June 2023 scan showed no further extension, the tumour size was still the same.

We did not stop this treatment. Although tumour did not resolve but it did not show any more extension till now. Overall, my brother health is good, he performs his daily activity without any difficulty. Also, there is no weight loss, he takes his diet properly, slurred speech is almost gone. He can make balance in his body and perform farming activities. It has been two years we are continuing our treatment from hospital under “Tushitam Foundation.”

Thanks to “Tushitam Foundation.” he is living a good life.
