What is Shalya Tantra?

Shalya Tantra is a specific branch of Ashtanga Ayurveda that consider three main approach –
- Treatment of foreign bodies/particle eg. all types of Trina, Kaashtha, Pashan, Panshu, Loha, Loshta, Asthi, Baala, Nakaha, Pua Srav, Dushta Vrana, Amtrahgarbha Shalya (in relation with human body.)
- Therapeutic application of Yantra, Shastra, Kshara, and Agni
- Treatment of all types of Vrana (Ulcers and Wounds)
What is Surgery?
Surgery is an art of practice to treat the injury and other deformity of body by manual operations and instrumental appearance.
It also includes optimum essential restoration of pre operative, during operative and post operative parameters. It also includes the treatment of injuries, bacteria, and fluid maintenance.
